8 Ardeo Partners That Beat The National Enrollment Trend

These Ardeo partners have been celebrating enrollment increases in fall 2020 – some record-breaking, others modest – but all bucking this year’s national average enrollment decline of 4.4% reported by The National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.

A big congratulations to all our partners, listed or not, who are celebrating a successful Fall 2020. (If you’re an Ardeo partner who wasn’t featured on this list and would like to be highlighted in the future, let us know by messaging [email protected]. We’d love to spotlight your success!)

Take a look at the impressive results below to see how Ardeo’s versatile enrollment tool helped these institutions reach their goals despite COVID-19.

  1. Erskine College

Located in Due West, S.C., Erskine College achieved a record-breaking enrollment. This was their first year using LRAPs to recruit non-athletes, a strategy which resulted in a 40% lift in this population.

  1. Illinois Wesleyan University

Illinois Wesleyan University, located in Bloomington, Ill., increased enrollment by 9%. IWU’s team uses LRAPs to shape their incoming class.

“The mission statement of IWU speaks to a commitment to diversity and social justice. LRAP has given us a tool to better live out that commitment,” said Greg King, IWU’s Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management.

  1. Rochester University

Celebrating a magnificent record-breaking enrollment year, Rochester University, in Rochester Hills, Mich., offers LRAPs to all incoming freshmen and select transfers.

“Many factors, such as the cost of college, concern about student loan debt and the pandemic, could dissuade students from attending college. But with the RU Pledge and with our supportive RU community where we give personalized attention to every student, we are pleased to educate a record number of students,” said Scott Samuels, Rochester’s Vice President of Admissions, Marketing and Student Life.

  1. Concordia University – Nebraska

Concordia University – Nebraska is welcoming 10% more students to their campus in Seward, Neb. The university deployed a number of LRAP strategies to enroll prospects, including the stale funnel approach. One of Ardeo’s more popular strategies, the stale funnel approach targets students who have gone “stale” in the recruitment process.

  1. Milligan University

Located in Milligan, Tenn., Milligan University achieved record-breaking enrollment. Milligan’s team uses LRAPs as an appeals award, providing students with peace of mind – a significant benefit for prospects during this tumultuous time.

Hear from Milligan’s Director of Admissions, Kristin Wright, on why she recommends offering LRAPs to your prospects in this two-minute video.

  1. Bethel College

Bethel College, located in North Newton, Kan., increased enrollment by 2.8%. As part of the financial aid packaging model, LRAP was included and offered to prospects with high need and larger gaps after all aid was applied. The investment of Ardeo’s powerful financial safety net empowered more students to enroll by addressing the fear of student and parent loan debt.

  1. Goshen College

An impressive 24% increase in new, first-year students has Goshen College, in Goshen, Ind., celebrating. Their team uses LRAPs to mitigate melt by providing prospects with a powerful benefit that demonstrates Goshen’s commitment to student success even after graduation.

  1. MidAmerica Nazarene University

Increasing enrollment by 10%, MidAmerica Nazarene University, located in Olathe, Kan., is celebrating a stellar year. MNU offers LRAPs to all incoming freshmen and eligible transfers, providing prospects with a promise that a degree from their institution will pay off.

“Out of all the vendors I’ve worked with over the years, the level of support and investment [Ardeo] has provided without adding it to an invoice somewhere has been extreme,” said Drew Whipple, MNU’s Associate Vice President for Enrollment.
