Peter is a graduate of Yale Law School and a former management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He developed the idea of LRAPs while serving on the Board of Directors of a private liberal arts college that was searching for ways to increase enrollment and help more students attend their first-choice college.

Justin has served in a variety of executive roles in the insurance and financial services industries with a specific focus on the financing of risk. Before joining Ardeo, Justin directed the strategy and business development of Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings’ captive insurance operations in the United States. Prior to that, Justin oversaw the administration of $22 billion worth of securitization and credit derivative products for ABN Amro/LaSalle Bank’s Global Securities Trust Services group. At Ardeo, Justin oversees the operations, including underwriting, finance and systems. Justin is a proud graduate of Coe College and a firm believer in the value of higher education.

Drew has served in administrative leadership roles both within universities and higher education businesses. Prior to coming to Ardeo, he served as the SVP of Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and Athletics at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN. Before St. Kate’s, he served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Collegis Education where the company experienced significant partner and revenue growth. Drew has built a successful career helping campuses strategically manage and grow their enrollment as a consultant with Noel-Levitz and as an enrollment management professional at medium and large public universities. Drew earned a BA from The University of Texas at Austin as well as an MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Justin has served in a variety of marketing and strategic leadership roles during his career. As a first-generation college graduate, he is passionate about the life-changing impact of higher education and believes in Ardeo’s mission of making education more accessible to more students. Justin is active in his local community as a volunteer and board member for a number of organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Greenville University (IL) and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

Abby Woods is a former management consultant, who brings her passion for delivering high-impact, strategic projects to Ardeo. With a foundation in direct sales at Southwestern Advantage, coupled with experience designing integrated solutions for national and global clients at Accenture, her skillset is uniquely aligned to develop scalable solutions and processes as Ardeo grows. Abby is a firm believer in making advanced education accessible to every young person. She earned a BS from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Alex is a firm believer in Ardeo’s ability to increase student access and provide a transformative solution to student debt concerns. With an extensive consulting background, he excels in applying quantitative and research-based methods to strategic growth initiatives while also managing current and potential partnership relationships. As head of corporate development, his focus is on evaluating and driving opportunities to expand Ardeo’s benefits to as many students and parents as possible. Alex earned his BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Ashley is an experienced sales enablement professional who has provided that expertise to a variety of start-up and early-stage companies prior to Ardeo. With an early background in history and museum education, she is passionate about the life-changing power of education and is committed to Ardeo’s mission. At Ardeo, Ashley’s goal is to make it easier for Ardeo to provide excellent customer service through improved processes. Originally from the east coast, Ashley earned a BA from Wheaton College and an MBA from Benedictine University.

Brooke is a certified public accountant (CPA) with experience working in small and mid-size service firms. She is a proud graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a BS in accountancy. She also earned an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. A first-generation college graduate, Brooke is passionate about continually learning and diversifying her knowledge, both in the classroom and on the job. As VP of Finance, Brooke’s timely financial reporting and analyses help guide Ardeo’s decision making and strategic planning.

Chad is an experienced leader in finance and analytics with a passion for building on new ideas. Prior to building the underwriting function at Ardeo, Chad led a team developing predictive analytical models for Nuveen Investments $200 billion asset management portfolio. He has also provided macroeconomic analysis for Northern Trust’s $6 trillion custody asset business. Chad earned a BA from Calvin University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a focus on analytical finance, econometrics and statistics, and entrepreneurship.

Chris is a former partner of the international law firm Seyfarth Shaw, where his practice focused on IP, litigation and employment matters. He has business experience working with higher education institutions as well as education-focused technology companies at all stages of their growth and development. Chris believes the best legal work is clear, practical and decisive. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he was selected for the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Chris received his legal degree with honors from the University of Michigan Law School. On a personal note, Chris is an avid reader, loves movies and totally spoils his dog, Sadie.

Joe has served in technology leadership roles throughout his career. He is experienced in building and managing large distributed systems. Joe was previously a senior engineer at AMI Entertainment and wrote gaming, video and music software. He earned a BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Joe serves on the finance council of his church.

Jonathan has spent over half of his life working in higher education and has experience helping institutions reach record levels of enrollment, working both with, and at, numerous colleges and universities. Prior to joining Ardeo, he worked as a Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. He is a proud graduate of Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Trust and Wealth Management and an MBA in Marketing. Jonathan went on to earn a PhD with studies focused on the most effective marketing and recruiting strategies to recruit prospective higher education students. Dr. Shores is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he still serves in a reserve component as a Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force. He has been to more than 40 countries and has deployed and/or assisted in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Joint Forge and Operation Coronet Oak.

Josh is passionate about student success and graduate outcomes and is dedicated to cultivating the LRAP experience for families, both in college and after graduation. Drawing on experience from numerous entrepreneurial ventures, Josh brings an innovative and forward-looking perspective to the Ardeo team, as he advances our product, service and organizational development initiatives. Josh is a proud graduate of Indiana University and the Liberal Arts & Management Program.

Mary began her HR career at a job search preparation company while also working in the university personnel office as she earned her master’s degree from the University of Illinois Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations. Before joining Ardeo, Mary served in a variety of HR roles at small and mid-size companies, including several that were recognized for their award-winning employment cultures (including Ardeo!). Mary runs a wide variety of professional development initiatives at Ardeo, is passionate about serving others and believes in the value of higher education.

Matt serves the needs of our clients and their students, bringing with him experience in a long, successful career in higher ed and a passion for helping students pursue their callings. He has extensive knowledge of the higher ed industry, having previously served in roles within student development, admissions, and for the majority of his career, in enrollment management where he oversaw financial aid and admissions for trad and non-trad programs. He was most recently the Vice President of Enrollment at Spring Arbor University, where he helped increase their main campus undergraduate enrollment by over 60% with Ardeo’s LRAPs. Matt earned a BS in education from Greenville University and an MA in sociology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.

Mondy holds a doctorate in Leadership with a Higher Education Administration specialization. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Humanities and his master’s degree in Education. Mondy has extensive experience in a variety of higher education posts. He has served as Director of Admissions and Marketing Communications, Assistant Vice President for Student Success, and Assistant Professor of Leadership. Before his time began in education, Mondy owned his own business. He has enrollment leadership experience from his time at Lubbock Christian University as Vice President of Enrollment Management, while continuing to direct the University Mentoring Program. Mondy is married with two daughters who keep him really busy.

Phil has spent his entire career in higher education, specifically in financial aid, which allows him to bring out his passion about the life-changing impact of higher ed and the power of LRAPs. Being part of the Business Technology team, Phil is driven to ensure that both clients and students have a world class experience awarding and receiving LRAPs. He earned a BS in Economics from Purdue University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with distinction.

Rachelle is a proud graduate of Judson University where she was awarded an LRAP as a student that empowered her to finish her undergraduate degree. She is thrilled to be taking part in Ardeo’s mission and supports the Client Service team by ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to maximize the benefits of LRAPs on client’s campuses. Her background is in financial aid, payroll and internet sales, but these days Rachelle is motivated by the powerful impact Ardeo’s LRAPs have across campuses nationwide.

Robin serves the needs of our clients and their students, bringing with extensive higher education experience. She most recently served as Director of Admissions at Bluffton University, where she utilized LRAP as a successful recruitment tool. She uses her background in strategic enrollment management to help our clients maximize their LRAP successes. Robin is a proud alumnus of The University of Findlay, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Roger’s career in higher education spanned 37 years including 30 years of enrollment leadership. He served as Senior Vice President for Enrollment at Trinity International University for 13 years. Prior to his service at TIU, Roger served as chief enrollment officer at King University (TN) and his alma mater, LeTourneau University. In addition to his part-time role of VP of Client Service at Ardeo, Roger is founder and President of GOALign Resources, a firm focused on executive coaching and leadership development. He is also a senior affiliate consultant, specializing in enrollment solutions for Credo Higher Education. He has a bachelor’s degree from LeTourneau and a master’s degree from the University of Wyoming.

Sean-Michael is a former senior university administrator, entrepreneur and author with a passion for higher education. He served as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut, and he previously held leadership roles in enrollment at the University of New Haven and Marist College. He is a thought-leader in the area of enrollment management, and he has presented at dozens of regional, national and international professional conferences. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he earned his undergraduate degree and membership in Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Pittsburgh; he earned graduate degrees at Marist College, the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University. He is the author of two books, and he is an avid volunteer in his community.

Carroll Stevens
Carroll’s passion for increasing access to college began in the late 1980s, when as the Associate Dean at Yale Law School he co-founded one of the first LRAP programs in the country. Since then he has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial ventures, including the strategic development and launch of a global division at Mott MacDonald, where he served as the Senior Vice President of their Management Consultancy, and was the thought leader for their North American education reform work. He also co-founded Achievement First, one of the nation’s premier charter school networks. Carroll has held governance and leadership appointments at six colleges and universities and currently serves as an honorary Fellow at Regent’s Park College at Oxford University.

Stephen Yandle
Stephen developed and managed the Yale Law School LRAP while serving as Associate Dean there. He is now Associate Dean at Peking University School of Transnational Law – Shenzhen.

Kurt Gerrild
On the advisory board for Ardeo, Kurt has 24 years in the information technology sector including network infrastructure, Exchange mail servers, SQL administration, IIS administration and more. He has a broad base of knowledge and management experience as a technical analyst and systems engineer.
