#HigherEd Conferences We’re Attending Summer 2018
Throughout the year, we routinely make efforts to join our higher education colleagues at conferences and conventions in order to share as much as we can to help colleges and universities.
We know that anxiety about student debt is having an impact on the enrollment choices of students and families, and we know that offering a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP) to those families can make a real difference on decisions.
Will you be attending any of the conferences below? Make sure to stop by our booth and say “hi”, we love meeting new folks in higher education. We’ll also be participating in online conversations using Twitter, so make sure to follow us there too.
Conferences we’ll be attending this summer:
NACCAP 2018
June 5-8, 2018 | Langley, BC
We’ll be facilitating a 90 minute discussion about Fear of Student Loan Debt & Enrollment Impact. We’ve worked to curate nearly 50 data points and bring them together into one take-home document (with a link to primary sources).
This document will provide focus for a discussion where your peers share what strategies they have for mitigating the impact of the anxiety families feel about student debt when making higher education choices. Facilitated by Matt Osborne, VP Client Service for LRAP Association.
NSCEC 2018
July 16-18, 2018 | Louisville, KY
We’ll be presenting at NSCEC again this year with a special session presented By Dr. Jonathan E. Shores, Jr., Vice President of Client Service and Sales. His session will be called “Addressing the Negative Impact of Loans on Enrollment Decisions”
About the session: Media and various others regularly question whether college is worth it. Such skepticism negatively impacts students’ decisions about college. But data clearly shows college is worth it. Learn how you can use this data to overcome students’ and parents’ anxieties and demonstrate your college is worth it.
Ruffalo Noel Levitz National Conference
July 24-26, 2018 | Orlando, FL
