LRAP Association is now Ardeo Education Solutions
We are excited to announce that we have changed our company name to Ardeo Education Solutions. The transition to the name Ardeo Education Solutions reflects our company’s growth and passion to ensure that the life-changing impact of higher education is more financially accessible to more students.
As LRAP Association, we have partnered with more than 120 colleges and universities across 38 states to help students repay their student and parent loans. We have provided loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs) for the past 11 years to students and families. Ardeo helps colleges build customized loan repayment assistance programs, which the colleges then offer to incoming students who intend to borrow, offsetting the financial risks of educational loans.
Ardeo empowers students to choose the best college, major or future career that is right for them, without having to worry about how they are going to pay back their student loans after graduation.
While our name is changing to better represent our future, our loan repayment assistance programs (LRAPs) will remain the same. LRAPs provide a powerful promise: if income after graduation is below a certain amount, the program will help repay federal student loans, parent PLUS loans and private alternative loans.
Ardeo, as LRAP Association, has enjoyed consistent organic growth since its inception, and we are pleased that 2018-19 has been another successful year. Ardeo Education Solutions will remain as an independent organization and we will continue to serve our clients and their students with the same commitment and care.
Why the name Ardeo?
“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” This quote has special meaning to the company – used in memory of Ruthie Wellhausen, a beloved member of the founding team who, for years, drew inspiration from the quote.
Ardeo is from Latin, meaning “to be on fire,” or “of passion.”
Ardeo Education Solutions is passionate about the positive impact of higher education – and are committed to lighting a path for students that eliminates the barriers fear and financial uncertainty create.
