Upcoming Webinar: Presidential Perspectives on Using a Loan Repayment Assistance Program

LRAP News November 9, 2017

From time to time, we make a point to sit with our partners – present and past – and ask them to share their experiences as Higher Education professionals who have chosen to bring loan repayment assistance programs to their campuses. The perspectives they share are useful, both for us and for other schools who are curious about taking advantage of these programs at their own schools. This month, we’ll be sitting down with G. Blair Dowden, EdD., President Emeritus at Huntington University in Huntington, IN.

Presidential Perspectives on LRAP Webinar

If you are a president or other senior administrator at a college or university in the United States, you’ll understand the challenges Huntington faced and the reasoning that led Dr. Dowden and his team to select LRAP Association as a partner. Odds are your school could also use some help in overcoming the obstacle that fear of student loan debt presents as it keeps students from enrolling at and graduating from your institution – even if you are their first choice.

We’ll be meeting (virtually) Thursday, November 16th at NOON CST (RSVP below).

Dr. Dowden will join Matt Osborne from LRAP Association to discuss Huntington’s experience using LRAP to eliminate the fear of student loan debt from enrollment decisions and represent the unique perspectives of a university president.

This webinar will discuss:

  • Evidence that compelled Huntington to choose LRAP.
  • Impact of LRAP on enrollment and retention at Huntington.
  • Feedback received from parents and families.
  • Why Blair Dowden would absolutely do it all again.
